Servo Hydraulic Press Machine VS Conventional Hydraulic Press Machine

Servo Hydraulic Press Machine VS Conventional Hydraulic Press Machine

The servo hydraulic press machine is a servo-driven hydraulic press system integrated with the precision pressure and position transducer for closed-loop control. Compared to conventional hydraulic press, the advances of the servo hydraulic presses are obvious:

  • First of all, much faster approaching, pressing and return speed
  • Speed adjustable during the whole stroke
  • Pressure repeat accuracy: ±1%
  • Furthermore, 30%~60% lower energy consumption
  • Much lower noise level
  • All parameters programmable on the central color touchscreen
  • High degree of reliability and minimum need for maintenance during the entire lifetime

Application of Lexson servo hydraulic press

Precision force control and real-time production monitoring make the servo-hydraulic press the ideal machine equipment for most of the precision applications such as automobiles parts forming and assembling, motor bearing assembling and press fitting, the electric connector assembly, and press fitting, as well as the precision straightening, trimmingcompression molding and so on. As with powerful lower energy consumption, the heated platen servo-hydraulic press is born to be the perfect press machine solution for hot compression molding application with long pressure holding time.

The Lexson electric servo press machine is an ideal equipment for assembly

For many precision assembly application, the control force and displacement can have a direct impact on product quality. When press fit an electric connector into the backplane, for example, we will require the very precisely controlled insertion force and displacement. Due to the precision closed-loop control of press-fitting force and press-in displacement in the whole process of the assembly, the Lexson-P07 electric servo press machine is an ideal assembly press for the application.

Compared to conventional pneumatic or hydraulic presses, the Lexson servo press is 80% energy-saving. Furthermore, it’s more environmentally friendly and safe, which best meet the dust-free workshop requirements. The 10” HMI will display the real-time curve of pressing force and displacement of the entire assembly process. Most noteworthy, you can even build up your own quality determine standard by monitoring the pressing pressure and displacement at the end position of the assembly, which is very useful for real-time quality management. All press-fit data is storable, importable and exportable, convenience quick set up for the new press-fit process.

hydraulic trim press

Hydraulic Trim Press: Best Machine Equipment Remove Burr

Hydraulic Trim Press: Best Machine Equipment To Remove Die Casting Burr

   Auto part with burrs

A burr is a raised edge or small piece of material remaining attached to a work-piece after a modification process

Part after de-burring

There are kinds of machine to remove the burr. Among them is the best deburring machine driven by hydraulic, with 4-post frame structure, mostly known as hydraulic trim press.

These four-column hydraulic trim presses mostly applied to deburring die casting parts that the burrs are remaining after the die-casting process. All we need to do is just installing the deburring mold to the machine. The hydraulic trim press will do all the next jobs for you.

Lexson’s heavy duty 4-post hydraulic trim presses range tonnes from 10 ton to 300 ton.

For trim presses, all parameters including tonnage, stroke, open daylight, bed sizes are customized to best meet your trimming requirement.

  • Modular design, customized to your trimming specifications
  • Worldwide famous brand of hydraulic and electric units
  • Superior rigidity and bed to platen parallelism for perfect trimming result
  • Perfect stability and effective resistance to off-center loading
  • Open designed for integrating into the flexible production line
  • Fast, easy and safe setup and operation
  • Years of maintenance-free and reliable operation
hydraulic press frame structures and applications

Hydraulic Press Frame Structures And Applications

A hydraulic press, also known as a Bramah press, is a press machine that functions by either, fluid pressure or hydraulic pressure. Hydraulic presses function under a dynamic known as Pascal’s principle. The Pascal principle asserts that pressure that is built up throughout any closed system will exert equal force on all areas of the containment.

How Hydraulic Press Works

A hydraulic press is, by today, a device using a hydraulic cylinder to generate a compressive force from hydraulic oil. It contains three main parts. The hydraulic power unit that powers the movement of the press. The electric control unit that controls the movement of the hydraulic press. The main machine body to support and fulfill the requirements of movement.

For operation safety, there is usually a pair of safety light sensors in front of the operative side of the working table. A protective shield will be added to keep non-operators away from the working machine. An emergency stop switch is necessary for any expected accident.

Hydraulic Press Frame Structures And Applications

A hydraulic press can be classified by its hydraulic press frame structure and application. There are several kinds of presses assorting by hydraulic press frame structures. Including two-column hydraulic press, C frame hydraulic press, H frame hydraulic press, four-column hydraulic press, benchtop press and so on.

Assorting by hydraulic press applications, there is hydraulic die cutting press, trimming press, deep drawing press, powder compacting press, straightening press and so on. Nowadays, a hydraulic press machine can have a corresponding mature optimized structure according to its application.

4 post hydraulic press – precision tooling applications. Heavy duty 4-post frame construction provides maximum rigidity.
C-frame presses — also known as gap frame press, for applications which require less space, generally consisting of a single press application.
H-frame presses — also referred to as four-column presses, and they acquire their name for the H-shaped frames.
Laboratory presses — smaller presses that have single applications, and generally used in labs as other testing facilities.
Pneumatic presses — use compressed air to generate energy transfers in order to facilitate and control movement.

Assembly presses — with the capacity of generating immense pressure to assemble and secure parts together.
Laminating presses — used for the impression of polymers onto other materials, such as paper, lumber or metal.
Heated platen presses — industrial hydraulic hot press. It utilizes tow large, the heated platens for the purpose of bonding, forming or molding a number of different products.
Stamping presses — machines that utilize stamping dies for stamping.
Straightening presses — apply pressure to certain metal for the purpose of straightening it.
Compression molding presses — comprised of two separate plates that pushed together in order to compress the material into the desired mold.

double action deep drawing hydraulic press

Double Action Deep Drawing Hydraulic Press

Deep drawing is a sheet metal forming process in which a sheet metal blank is radially drawn into a forming die by the mechanical action driven by the hydraulic press machine. It is such a shape transformation process with material retention.

Multi-purpose 315 ton Double Action Deep Drawing Hydraulic Press is a special design heavy duty deep drawing press for making a wide range of products such as the wheel hubs.

Detailed technical specification of the above 315 Ton double action deep drawing hydraulic press

  • Ejector ram nominal force: 630 KN
  • Main Ram Traveling Stroke: 800 mm
  • Ejection ram stroke: 300 mm
  • Daylight Opening: 1250 mm
  • Working Table Size: 1200*1120 mm
  • Motor: 22 KW
  • Ram close speed: 100 mm/s
  • Pressing speed: 6-12 mm/s
  • Ram return speed: 60 mm/s

  • Machine weight 4500 KGs

For making hubs/wheels

The process is considered double action deep drawing when the depth of the drawn part exceeds its diameter.

This is achieved by redrawing the part through a series of dies. The flange region (sheet metal blank in the die shoulder area) experiences a radial drawing stress and a tangential compressing stress due to the material retention property. These compressing stresses ( hoop stresses ) result in flange wrinkle(wrinkle of the first order). By using a blank holder we can prevent wrinkle. The function of which is to facilitate controlled material flow into the die radius.
